After Graduating from West Point Ben and mysself had nearly three months with which we could do pretty much whatever we wanted. So, after a little coaxing and cajoling I convince Ben to journey with me to the far reaches of the globe, in search of wisdom, knowledge, and ... an honest cab driver in Cairo. So after taking the first three weeks of June to wrap things up at home, we each set off on our journey. While we both initially journeyed to Dover, DE, Ben began his trip several days before me so as to have time to visit family in England. However, after catching a C-5 via USAF Space Available travel to Ramstein AFB, Germany --- we finally linked up around the 22nd of June. From there, we hopped on a Medical DC-9 to Incilirk AFB, Turkey, where we were to meet up with Kent Larsen and his family -- a friend of our family I had never personally met .... This is where our journey truly begins....
